NWI Aerostructures Selects FactoryTwin® to Strengthen Operational Planning and Real-Time Decision Intelligence

Hopkins, MN — December 08, 2025 — NWI Aerostructures, a leading producer of highly complex structural parts and assemblies with manufacturing operations in Wichita (KS) and Nashville (TN), has selected the FactoryTwin analytics platform to accelerate its digital transformation journey. The predictive and prescriptive analytics enabled by FactoryTwin will enhance NWI Aerostructures’ planning precision, data diagnostics capabilities, shop floor visibility, and customer responsiveness at both sites.

NWI will deploy three FactoryTwin modules—FactoryValidator®, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), and DigitalCI™ (Digital Continuous Improvement), as part of its broader digital transformation initiative. Together, these modules create a single, integrated environment where production teams can quickly evaluate options, adjust plans with confidence, run rapid scenario analyses, and act on insights rooted in real-time factory conditions.

With S&OP, NWI Aerostructures gains an automated planning layer that allows production teams to seamlessly explore multiple paths, assess capacity alignment, and coordinate decisions across departments. FactoryValidator adds deep data diagnostics and process integrity checks, while DigitalCI accelerates continuous improvement with automated Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen identification for lead time and cost reduction, as well as for improving on-time delivery.

“FactoryTwin aligns closely with our Mission 2027, focusing on growth, efficiency, and competitiveness,” said Walt Sirmans, CEO of NWI Aerostructures. “The ability to translate data into clear, actionable guidance enhances how our teams plan, collaborate, and execute on a daily basis.”

FactoryTwin will unify data from machines, data systems, and tribal knowledge, creating an on-demand digital twin of NWI Aero’s operations. This enables faster evaluations of production alternatives, greater accuracy in aligning supply and demand, and more transparent communication between sales & marketing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and leadership.

“NWI Aero is a forward-thinking manufacturer on key platforms in business jets, military & commercial aircraft, and space segments. We’re excited to support their profitable growth,” said Vivek Saxena, CEO of FactoryTwin. “Our platform is built to help manufacturers move from static reporting to dynamic, insight-driven decisions using digital twin technology.”
