NWI Reflects on a Year of Growth, Innovation, and Community Impact

As 2025 begins, NWI is celebrating the achievements, milestones, and generosity that defined 2024. From industry advancements to community service, the company remained committed to excellence and making a difference.

Industry Recognition and Innovation

NWI was honored as a finalist for the Airbus Competitive Collaboration Award, a testament to the company’s dedication to partnership and efficiency. In a showcase of technological progress, Siemens & Fives featured NWI Nashville in a video highlighting its upgraded Sinumerik One controller on Cincinnati machines.

Strengthening Industry and Government Relationships

The year saw notable visits from key leaders, including Senator Marsha Blackburn at NWI Nashville and Wichita Mayor Lily Wu, Deputy State Director Mike Zamrzla, and AeroDynamic Advisory’s Managing Directors, Kevin Michaels and Richard Aboulafia, at NWI Wichita. Additionally, NWI exhibited in a private chalet at the Farnborough Airshow, collaborating with the Greater Wichita Partnership and Senator Moran’s office to showcase the region’s aerospace capabilities.

Investing in Workforce Development

NWI Nashville’s Aircraft Assembly Schools celebrated the graduation of 21 students, reinforcing its commitment to training the next generation of aerospace professionals. The company also hosted multiple TCAT tours in Nashville and participated in Metro Nashville Public Schools Career Fairs. In Wichita, NWI welcomed Wichita Public Schools’ Future Ready Center students and VEX Robotics teams for facility tours, providing hands-on exposure to manufacturing careers.

Giving Back to the Community

NWI employees exemplified generosity throughout the year, volunteering a total of 336 hours. Through the efforts of the Glass Foundation and NWI employees, the company contributed over $121,000 to 16 organizations across its communities.
